NEW Uganda Athletics Federation kit sponsors Errea have unveiled the official new kit that Uganda will be using for the next four years.

The new kit sponsors are set to give Uganda an average of 50 kits per year, which will include track suits, back packs, leisure and official wear as well as competition kits.

It was unveiled at the company’s headquarters in Roma where the sponsorship that will include cash prize for medals at international level was announced.

“We are trying to corporate in helping build Uganda athletics. We are hoping that this offer will go a long way in helping them get the brand they need,” said Italian coach Giuseppe Giambrone at the launch.

Ugandan runners Moses Kibet, Geoffrey Kusuro and Wilson Busienei, who recently ran 1:00:38 in the half marathon were present at the launch and donned the new attire.

Errea is an international brand that makes sports kits that range from football, basketball, volleyball and athletics. They however do not make shoes.

The kit comes with another offer for training from Giambrone, under his company Tuscany Training camp.

The offer will see selected Ugandan elite athletes benefit from free training in Siena with all the support needed by an athlete in terms of diet, accommodation, physiotherapy, medical assistance, and a training programme, aimed for them to peak at the international competition they are looking at.

“This will be on offer for athletes who are committed to reside at the camp for long periods of time needed to allow the athletes being in the best condition for developing their talents,” said Giambrone in the press release circulated after unveiling the kit.
