KAMPALA - Government has released sh2.2 trillion for the 4th quarter of the financial year 2013/2014.

The funds are for wages, non-recurrent and development budgets covering the period between April and June 2014

This brings the total releases for the financial year to sh9.9 trillion.

The secretary to the treasury, Keith Muhakanizi, on Thursday said the finance ministry had notified accounting officers to submit work plans not later than April 8 to facilitate the releases.
