The wife of the late National Resistance Army (NRA) historical Col. Jet Mwebaze has been found dead.

Col. Mwebaze died in a plane crash in 1998 in Rwenzori Mountains during the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) insurgency.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Ibin Ssenkumbi, the late Michelle Mwebaze was found dead at her house in Ntinda, a Kampala suburb.

“We were tipped off by locals about the incident and we rushed to the home. We found her dead and we took the body to Mulago for a postmortem to ascertain the cause of her death,” he said.

Ssenkumbi said the body was found with no injuries and Police have launched investigations into the matter.
