JUST after withdrawing the national U-20 side from the Canada 2014 World Cup qualifying due to financial constraints, FUFA had promised to use the little money available for other activities like women inter regions football championship this month.

However, the federation has once again expressed its inability to hold this event this year due to lack of money.

“We have again been told there is no money, that we shall have to plan for this event after the CHAN tournament in January,” said FUFA women football official Mariam Kaliga.

The federation is preparing the national team the Cranes for the event due in South Africa starting January 11 to February 1.
