Two people are in Police custody in Soroti over drink driving.

The duo was arrested in an operation led by the District police commander, Joab Wabwire, aimed at reducing the number of accidents.

Wabwire explained that the operation will continue. He called upon drivers to follow traffic regulations during and after the festive season.

He cautioned people to celebrate Christmas peacefully to avoid over drinking, fights and moving late in the night.
