BY STEVEN ODEKE AND TONY RUJUTA

The show featuring Jose Chameleone and Nigerian artiste Davido was cancelled yesterday by KCCA and Police force after failing to agree on time.
Dubbed “The War Of Titans,” security operatives from KCCA and Police descended on the venue yesterday evening and ordered the stage to be pulled down on stating that the event’s organizer failed to liaise with the commander Metropolitan police.

The letter read “The field operator is requested to liaise with the commander Metropolitan Police to ensure that the said concert does not happen.” The disagreement arose after the shows organisers failed to promise they would end the show by mid night. This follows the last two shows staged at Kyadondo Grounds that went beyond the agreed time.
