SHE is Uganda’s female pioneer disc spinner and she is undoubtedly one of the most experienced DJs in the country with a career spanning over 16 years.

DJ Rachael ventured into the music career as well in 2010 and recently completed her 12-track album which she will be launching early next year.

Yesterday she hosted a Christmas bash at Cayenne Bar and Restaurant in Bukoto which attracted hundreds of revellers who had fun until wee hours of Wednesday morning.

The ‘Christmas Bangaroo bash’ later turned up to be a deejaying competition between DJ Rachael and DJ Moshi from Belgium something which spiced up the night and excited revellers.

“I just wanted to get up close and personal with my fans and I hope they had fun to the fullest; I hope they support me during my album launch next year,” said Rachael.

She gave away autographed T-shirts and caps and auctioned her portrait which fetched $1500 (about Sh3.7m).
