SCHOLARSHIP offers are open for students who sat their final national examinations at advanced level this year.
However, every student, who is interested in these scholarships, must take the initiative to apply for them.
However, beware of scholarship scams on the market where unscrupulous people are out to rip off unsuspecting students.
The application vetting process takes time so international students need to apply nine to 12 months in advance. Thus, if your child is to study in 2014/2015, you have to begin the process now.
The first step should be doing a background check of the institution before you use their services and also see if the institution is registered.
Do your research and find out which college is best for you – academically, financially and socially.
Most scholarship deadlines never go beyond March of any given year. Start the search now.
Some universities only pay half of your tuition fees and might require you to pay the other half. Some may require you to pay your full tuition and cater for your accommodation and living expenses.
