Comedy on water is a shindig that has swiftly drowned the club parties in the entertainment waters. Not because it’s done on a posh boat, but because of the hilarity combination from both the zonked participants and the comedians themselves.
This time around, the loose mouthed Afande Kele-kele didn’t miss out. He wanted to make his stale joke cache a few jokes richer.
The MV Armani set sail at 4:30pm and the DJ’S loud music couldn’t deter the revellers aboard from competing with the vultures on the Lake Victoria waters over who had the loudest voice. When it docked at Mutoola beach in Mukono at 5:30pm the revellers were surprised when they saw another boat aside it.
They panicked, their bikini’s and briefs almost giving way to urine thinking the Al-shabab had survived Dickson Okello’s wrath and paid everyone on the boat cruise a romantic visit. But when the boat’s doors were flung open, the dread locked person who came out was the ghetto president Bobi-wine stepping off his boat to come and interact with the revellers.
This however made the comedians like bright Onak, kele-kele, and little Joe, all from the Krackers comedy group, feel less wanted as the attention they usually enjoyed was all taken by Bobi wine and he didn’t disappoint, he interacted and sung for those who bugged him enough to do so.
It was a night to reminisce about as even when Bobi wine left on a different boat, the comedians took to stage on the way back to Port Bell Luzira and cracked gut-wrecking jokes that had the zonked souls on the boat spreading their mandibles like it was a competition on who would live their teeth out for the longest time.
At 11:00 pm, the Mv Armani docked at Port Bell Luzira which meant people had to get off and go home but at that level of drunkenness, it took a full hour to get people off the boat as everyone was staggering and their sight were blurry.
