Entebbe FC v Kiira Young (Wankulukuku)
KIIRA Young Football Club hope to maintain a rather unconventional formation when they face Entebbe FC at Wankulukuku this afternoon.
Stand-in coach Richard Luboyera fielded what he described as 4-1-3-2 against Masaka last week and pulled off a 2-0 victory.
And now Luboyera has insisted that although he will continue to design different formations depending on the opponent that comes his way. He is likely to maintain the formation he deployed against Masaka when they meet Entebbe FC this afternoon.
“I believe formations are not permanent but designed according to the team you will be playing. We engaged a rather strange formation of one defensive midfielder and two attacking ones with two strikers and it worked for us. We may do the same today,” Luboyera explained.
Luboyera, who stepped in to coach after departure of George Ssimowgerere is desperate for a second successive win as he will have one more match to prove his worth on the job or else the club will recruit an established tactician.
But he will need a last minute fitness approval to field Lawrence Ndugga (knee), who scored against Masaka while the other goal grabber Brian Nkuubi will be forced to play on painkillers.
Entebbe FC will be out to grab their first Super League victory in four league matches.
