A seven-year old girl, Faith Namukose, is seeking financial assistance of $20,000 (about sh50m) to undergo a brain surgery.
A team of four doctors led by Dr. Opika Opoka, a consultant paediatrician at Mulago Hospital, diagnosed Namukose with a brain tumour.
Opoka said she was recommended for an operation in DGS Global Hospital Bangalore in India, which has a collaboration with Mulago Hospital.
The money is to cover the treatment, travel and upkeep expenses in India.
Namukose, who is a daughter of Peter Ereemye of UMEME and Sarah Kalebbo of World Vision Masaka branch, is weak, can barely walk and her eyes are getting crossed.
