Liberia vs Uganda 7pm

BOBBY Williamson has named his 18 man Cranes squad that will travel to Liberia in search of a win in the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers.

Uganda currently lies 2nd in Group J which also contains giants Senegal and Angola.

5 players have been axed from the final squad including Ali Feni and Joseph Mpande who were late additions to the camp.

The big selection dilemma has been the right back position after veteran Simeon Masaba was dropped earlier during the week; a move that could signal the end of his impressive Cranes career spanning a decade.

Victoria University’s Dennis Guma has gotten the nod ahead of Nicholas Wadada who has been in sparkling form for Vipers FC.

Boban Zirintusa, the uncapped Zimbabwe-based midfielder also made the final list in what will be the only surprise inclusion by Bobby Williamson.

Ghana-based Joseph Ochaya and forward Geoffrey Massa will join up with the rest of the team in Accra before heading to Liberia.

The squad which includes 7 officials will depart early Friday morning at 1am.
