Semi-final fixtures Saturday at Kyadondo

Buffaloes v Kobs  3pm

Heathens v Pirates  5pm

D'MARK Kobs is not ready for a repeat of their previous game against Buffaloes when they surprisingly lost 22-18 at Kyadondo in the Nile Special Rugby League semi-final.

Kobs has intensified their training and ruled out defeat in Saturday’s clash with Buffaloes in the first game at 3pm.

“We have corrected our mistakes from the last two games and we are ready for them,” team Captain Brian Odongo stated in an interview.

“We respect them but now that all our senior players are back we shall apply an aggressive game to prove that they were successful because they were playing against a second string side” Odongo stressed.

He however added that they will have to improve their discipline to avoid conceding many penalties since Buffaloes have a better kicker in Philip Wokorach.

Oscar Kalyango, Brian Odongo, Timothy Mudoola, Richard Lumu and Justin Kimono are all set for the game.

Meanwhile Pirates believe that they can upset title favourites Heathens in the second semi-final.

“We have beaten them before not once or twice and we can repeat that feat,” team Manager Fred Kumakech stated.
