Senegal v Angola

THE Cranes have a day to get to grips with Liberian conditions ahead of their World Cup qualifier against- the Lone Stars.

Bobby Williamson and his troops will after a two day base in Accra, Ghana make a one hour trip on Saturday to the Liberian capital Monrovia.

FUFA Head of Communication Rogers Mulindwa explained that the morning trip to Liberia will have the team in time for an evening training session at the Samuel Kanyan Doe Sports complex.

The 30,000 seater stadium will be the venue for the Group J encounter in which Uganda has to pull off a good result to keep alive its dream of a historic place in the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

The Cranes squad will this morning be trimmed from 25 to 18. The team departs at 1.40am on Thursday morning on an Ethiopian Airlines flight via Addis Ababa to Accra. They arrive in Ghana at 11.15am on Thursday. They will be back home at 12.55 am on Monday.

Defender Henry Kalungi was expected in camp last night bringing the total of players at the Namboole camp to 23.

Striker Geoffrey Massa, who plies his trade in Cyprus, and Asante Kotoko midfielder Joseph Ocaya will be in Accra ahead of the rest of the team.

Hamis Kiiza (Yanga FC), Daniel Serunkuma (Gor Mahia) Kizito Luwaga (Leixoes) and Simeon Masaba (URA) did not make it to camp.  Joseph Mpande (Vipers) and Ali Feni (URA) were added to the squad.
