UNHCR is planning to enter into a frame agreement with a potential transport company (ies) for provision of Transport services as indicated hereunder.

62 sitter buses to ferry refugees from:-

i) Kisoro transit camp to Rwamwanja refugee settlement

ii) Kisoro transit camp to Nakivale refugee settlement

iii) Kisoro transit camp to Oruchinga refugee settlement

v) Matanda transit camp (in Kihihi) to Rwamwanja refugee settlement

vi) Matanda transit camp (in Kihihi) to Nakivale refugee settlement

vii) Matanda transit camp (in Kihihi) Oruchinga refugee settlement

The service provider should be able to mobilise and avail 10-15 buses per convoy and or sometime at a short notice of 24 hours.

The Busses are expected to be compliant with authority requirements, road worthiness and in good mechanical condition.

Buses will be required to be prepositioned at the above mentioned points of origin on the evening prior to departure

The bidders will be required to submit evidence of compliance, ownership and road worthiness.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain the bidding documents specifying terms of reference and UNHCR general terms and conditions of supply of services from Supply Unit UNHCR Representation in Uganda Plot 18 Prince Charles Drive, Kololo, for guidance to bid, from 9.00 pm to 5.00 pm between March 14th to 20th 2013.
