KAMPALA

By Lawrence Okwakol

Pallisa Muslim district council has resolved to give retired district khadi Sheikh Abubakar Sempiira a vehicle in appreciation of his services.

The council, which sat on Tuesday, unanimously endorsed the decision that Sempiira be given the offi cial car he had been using as district khadi.

Sheikh Dauda Umar said Sempiira deserved the car because he struggled to unite Muslims in Pallisa.

The council now has a challenge of buying the current Khadi, Sheikh Badru Magoma, a vehicle or motorcycle.
