KAMPALA - Former health minister and Soroti Municipality Capt. Mike Mukula was Wednesday morning acquitted by the Anti Corruption Court in a sh210m embezzlement case.

And ofcourse the pompous politician had an entourage of his supporters at the court to witness the verdict. New Vision photographer Enock Kakande was there to freeze the moments following the verdict.

Justice David Wangutusi is seen here before delivering his verdict.

Roars and excitement erupted after the delivering of the acquittal. Their man was a free man!

Dressed in a characteristic dark suit and a purple tie, Mukula was recieved by overjoyed supporters.

And led down the stairs with a touch of gentleness and respect. He sure was enjoying this moment of bliss.

Chit-chatting away as he was escorted to a vehicle, Mukula seemed to be the hero of the day.

"Congratulations! Congratulations!"
