Noeline Nsungwa, commonly known in Hoima district as Teacher Abooki, is proof that anyone can achieve success if they put their mind to it.

Born in a poor family in a remote village in Kibaale district, Nsungwa had to walk miles to school because her parents could not a ord boarding fees As a hazard of this lifestyle, she became pregnant in Senior Four and had to breastfeed her child between the Uganda Certificate of Education exams. Yet all this did little to faze her determination to succeed.
