A Kampala-bound fuel truck on Friday morning caught fire after it lost control and rammed into a house at Kitega in Lugazi.


So far one person has been confirmed dead as rescuers and the Police Fire brigade are battling the raging fire that extended to two houses near the scene of the accident.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Sekeba, a boda boda cyclist operating at Special Investigations Unit (SIU) in Kireka, Wakiso district.

Details surrounding the incident are yet to be established.
