A City Court has issued a warrant of arrest for city socialite Bad Black aka Shanita Namuyimbwa after jumping bail.

The KCCA Magistrate, Juliet Hatanga on Tuesday issued the warrant after Bad Black failed to appear in court on two occasions without any explanation from people who stood surety for her.

“It is now on two occasions that she is not here, I therefore issue the warrant of arrest so that she is brought back to court in the next date of hearing,” she added.

However, one of Bad-black surety, Edson Kirabira who was bonded 20m not cash last year, pleaded with court to discharge him from bail.

“I don't know where she (Namuyimbwa) is, please let me free and return my passport. I really need to travel abroad for further studies,” Kirabira lamented.

The Magistrate however charged Kirabira sh2m cash for being discharged from bail, adding that Bad Black needed to bring another surety to stand for her.

Bad-black is facing charges of traffic offence at KCCA court in Kampala.

Court of appeal granted Black bail to allow her travel abroad to remove her breast implants last year after she told court that her breasts were swollen and the implants inside need to be removed. The claims were confirmed by a doctor who was summoned by the court saying she needed urgent medical treatment.

Prosecution alleged that on December 4, 2011, Black at Casablanca Pub & Restaurant along Acacia Avenue, while driving  a Mercedes Benz UAM 833Z, carelessly and without reasonable consideration for other road users, knocked a motorcycle UDN 916E and damaged it.

Further, prosecution alleges that in the process of knocking the motorcycle, three people; Ismail Nsamba, the rider of the motorcycle, his wife Ms Fatuma Namusoke and their six months old baby Jamila Namulindwa were seriously injured.

While speaking to the New Vision, Namusoke said that the injured leg needs to be operated again so prevent cancer from developing.

“The doctors told me that if my leg is not operated again, cancer may develop because the born pierces my skin but I don't have money for operation,” she lamented.

The Magistrate adjourned the traffic offence to 15, April, 2013for further hearing.
