Hundreds of mourners on Wednesday morning thronged Kololo ceremonial grounds for a national Thanksgiving prayer service in honour of fallen First Deputy Prime Minister Eriya Kategaya.

The national Thanksgiving prayer Service is part of the official funeral ceremonies for Kategaya, who has also been the Minister for East African Community Affairs.

President Yoweri Museveni, his wife Janet Museveni, ministers, MPs, envoys, religious leaders, relatives and friends filled Kololo grounds by 7:00 am to pay homage to late Kategeya.
