Toyota Buffaloes' unconvincing midweek performance against minnows XFM Impis raises expectations of MTN Heathens flogging a dead horse in the Kyadondo derby today.

But Heathens might want to know that unbeaten Buffaloes have convincingly won three of their four Nile Special Premier Rugby League games.

Buffaloes were saved by a very late penalty to secure a 16-13 victory over Impis in the match played after heavy rain at Kyadondo on Wednesday.

Eager to shed off the 'kid bro' tag, Buffaloes have in the past two seasons unsuccessfully put on their best performance whenever they come up against Heathens and hope they will finally upstage the league champions today.

"Heathens should expect a totally different game. We also don't want to be called a second team of Heathens," Buffaloes coach/player Robert Seguya stated yesterday.

"We always prove it in our matches and want nothing short of victory this time. Kyadondo cannot have only one champion year after year, we want to win the league this time."

Eric Kasiita, Simon Okia, Bosco Kyaligonza and Robert Masembe are among other players that were rested midweek and are expected to feature for the Buffaloes in today's match.

Heathen coach Brian Tabaruka will unleash a full strength team as he aims to finish on top of theleague table to get an easy semifinal playoff fixture against the fourth team.

At Legends Kampala Club, Pirates will be up against D'Mark Kobs in renewal of local rivalry.

Summerkamp are pitted against Rhinos at the same venue.

At Makerere, Impis will be out to notch their first win of the campaign when they host Entebbe side Sadolin Mongers.
