DESIGN-AND-BUILD SERVICES FOR A DETAILED OFFICE LAY-OUT DESIGN, MODIFICATION OF PREMISES AND PARTITIONING WORKS FOR THE NEW PRIDE HEAD OFFICE PREMISES PML/WRKS/13/00097

1. PRIDE MICROFINANCE LTD (MDI) has allocated funds to be used for the development of a detailed office lay out, modification and partitioning works for the new Pride head office premises located on Plot 6-9 Okot Close, Bukoto Kampala, Victoria Park Offices (Block B).

2. PRIDE MICROFINANCE LTD (MDI) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works and services. 

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Pride Microfinance Procurement and Disposal of Assets Manual, 2012 (December 2012) and is open to all bidders from eligible countries.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from PRIDE MICROFINANCE LTD (MDI) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No. 7(a) from 9.00am to 4.00pm (Monday to Friday).

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English maybe purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below in No. 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 100,000. The method of payment will be cash to Pride Entebbe Road Branch Cashier who will issue a banking slip.

The document will be issued from the address in No. 7(a) below. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below in No. 7(c) at or before Friday March 22, 2013, 10.00 am: All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX: 9,000,000. Late bids shall be rejected.

Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below in No. 7(d) at Friday March 22, 2013, 10.30am.

7. (a) Address documents maybe inspected at: The Procurement and Disposal Unit, Pride Microfinance Limited (MDI), Plot 8 – 10 Metropole House Entebbe Road, Ground Floor, P.O Box 7566, Kampala, Uganda.

(b) Address documents will be issued from: As in No. 7(a) above.

(c) Address Bids must be delivered to: As in No. 7(a) above.

(d) Address of Bid Opening: Pride Head Office, Plot 8-10 Metropole House, Entebbe Road (Meeting Room Mezzanine Floor)

8. A pre-bid meeting and site visit shall be held at the new premises located on Plot 6-9 Okot Close, Bukoto Kampala, Victoria Park Offices (Block B) on Monday March 11, 2013 at 10:00 am. All bidders or their representatives are encouraged to attend.
