TITLE favourites Strykers registered a hard fought victory over title rivals Warriaz 7-5 to maintain their lead atop the Uganda Lacrosse League table the for the third week running.

In the fourth minute James Tabu netted his teams opening goal shortly before Ibrahim Makanaa and Kenneth Kasule added a goal each to give Strykers a runaway lead. 

Kenneth Lubega, Phillip Ssebunya and Oscar Wodero were on hand to score for Warriaz and level the game at 3-3 by half time.

Strykers were not to be denied victory though, and Makanaa, Kasule and Tabu were on score sheet yet again during the second half as they jointly added more four goals to seal their third win in four games.

In a bottom-of-the-table clash, Panthers who are second from the bottom breezed past bottom side Kings 8-3 at the same venue.

Bruno Malando and Liberty Twesime were outstanding for Panthers who registered what is just their third league victory of the season.
