A five year-old girl is stuck with a sh100 coin in her throat. At the moment Doreen Mulungi cannot eat anything due to pain. She is currently admitted at Mulago hospital in Ward 3B-E.

Her father John Musinguzi 27, who is taking care of her, said the incident took place on Sunday as they had gone for prayers at Nyabubale Catholic Church in Kyenjojo district.

Musinguzi said, "On Saturday my little girl picked a coin near my bed, and decided to keep it, on the following day as we reached the church she told me that she had swallowed the coin, I abandoned prayers and rushed her to Kyenjojo hospital, before being transferred to Mulago.”

By Tuesday afternoon, the baby girl was still waiting for treatment. Musinguzi is appealing to people of good heart to assist him with funds to buy some of the basic needs while in hospital; he can be reached on mobile number 256-774208770.
