Embattled city socialite Medi Ssentogo was Wednesday charged afresh with threatening violence and unlawfully owning a pistol.

Buganda Road court chief magistrate, Eleanor Khainza, heard that on October 19, 2011, Ssentongo, with intent to intimidate or annoy, threatened to injure court bailiff Christopher Kwizera with a firearm at Garden city shopping Mall in Kampala.

Kwizera had reportedly gone to arrest Ssentogo over conspiring with Shanita Namuyimbwa a.k.a. Bad Black to embezzle sh11b from Daveshan, a company she jointly owned with her British lover, Greenhalgh.

But Ssentogo, clad in a black suit with a blue tie, denied the charges.

Ssentongo was sent back to Luzira prison where he is already serving an 18-month sentence for conspiring with Bad Black to embezzle sh11b from Daveshan.
