Merab Manige, 27, started growing mushrooms from a verandah while still a student at Makerere University.

Today, a two-time Young Achievers Awards winner, she is making a fortune from processing porridge and soup from mushrooms. But her journey has not been easy. She shared her story with Prossy Nandudu. Click here to read more from E-paper
