The Police have arrested a man who has been masquerading as a girl and residing at Akamwesi Hostel in Wandegeya.

Abel Atuhairwe, 22, who has been masquerading as Patience and sharing a room with girls, was arrested after he was accused of stealing two laptops.

'Patience' is said to have spent two weeks staying with girls in the same room. After his arrest Police discovered that he had been robbing 'prospective clients' while masquerading as a prostitute.

'Patience' was discovered that in fact he is a man with male genitalia while in detention at Wandegeya Police station. He had been locked up in the female's cell when he went to ease himself.

Shocked inmates screamed for help when he squatted to ease himself and they instead saw something dangling between his legs.

Bewildered cops rushed in and transferred him to the male's cell. The Police station boss, Ceaser Tusingwire, said the suspect's case is recorded under file number SD:79/25/10/2012
