Ronald Tumusiime, 30, is lying in severe pain at Mulago Hospital after his girlfriend cut his private parts, leaving them hanging by the skin.

Tumusiime, a farmer, said the incident took place on Saturday at his home in Kataremwa at around mid-night. He said this was after a misunderstanding with Scovia Nakiwala, his lover of eight months.

“On the fateful day, I woke up with sharp pain only to realise that she had started chopping my private parts with a knife, while I was asleep. My girlfriend’s intention was to completely chop off my private parts,” he said.

He added that the misunderstanding was as a result of him warning his girlfriend against her engagement in multiple relationships.

“On different occasions, I have found her having sex with other men in our banana plantation. Whenever I cautioned her, she would become angry,” Tumusiime said.

By press time, Tumusiime, a father of two, was yet to report the case to the Police. He, however, said his relatives have advised him to end the affair and warned that his lover was likely to make another attempt at his life.
