President Museveni has extended an invitation to more investors to Uganda particularly to the agro-processing sector.

He reiterated the his Government’s policy of promoting the processing sector in order to ensure Uganda churns out value added goods for the national, regional and international markets instead of exporting raw materials as the case had hitherto been.

The President was receiving a delegation from the United Kingdom-based Ariya Capital LLP Wednesday at his country home in Rwakitura, Kiruhuura District.

The visiting delegation was led by the organisation’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Herta von Stiegel who is highly credited for her vast and long experience in international finance.

Established in 2008 with a focus on Africa, Ariya Capital LLP is committed to the promotion of opportunities for sustainable and private venture investments.

Museveni and his guests reviewed the progress so far registered in the proposed construction of a second international airport in the country.

Dr. Stiegel informed him that her company is committed to the construction of a solar energy generation plant and an agro-industrial center in Uganda.
