Jailed former Kampala socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa a.k.a Bad Black, who was recently charged with traffic offenses and granted bail goes back to court today.

City Hall Grade I Magistrate, Julius Borore on September 17 granted Black a cash bail of sh800,000.

Her sureties were bonded at sh20m each (non cash).

Bad Black, as she is popularly known, is serving a four-year jail term behind bars at Luzira Prison in Kampala for fraud.

She was accused of injuring a six-month-old baby and her parents in a gruesome accident.

Prosecution alleges that Black caused an accident in which the toddler, Jamila Namulindwa and her parents, Ismail Nsamba and Fatuma Namusoke were seriously injured.

It was reported to have been a hit-and-run accident.

At the time of the incident, Black was driving a silver Mercedes Benz of registration number UAM 833Z early December last year.

The hit family was riding on a motorbike at Acacia Avenue in Kampala at the time of the clash.
