The Bank of Uganda is set to announce new lending rate today expected between 11-14%.

Bank of Uganda Governor Tumusime Mutebile will announce the rates a t news conference at the Central Bank in capital Kampala.

The bank cut its Central Bank Rate to 19 percent in July from 20 percent in June, down from a peak this year of 23 percent.
Uganda's year-on-year inflation rate slowed to 18.0 percent in June from 18.6 percent a month earlier.
