A guard with Saracen security company has been crashed to death while another had his legs broken when
a speeding taxi and trailer rammed into their motorcycle.

The grisly accident happened Tuesday morning when a taxi that was heading towards Nakawa rammed into the guards’ motorcycle, registration number UDQ 312Q, at Shoprite along Jinja Road.

The trailer, a fuel tanker, that was following the taxi, then rammed into its rear.

Jinja Road traffic chief Francis Onen identified the dead as Onyala, whose body was taken to Mulago Hospital mortuary and the one whose limbs were broken as David Onra.

He said the driver of the fuel tanker, John Kaharuza, has been arrested. He further said the Police are hunting for the taxi driver who just sped off after the accident.
