Namilyango Junior scouts return from International Scouts' Jamboree

Namilyango Junior boys, Mukono have returned from representing Uganda at this year’s International scouts Jamboree festival in Cologne, Germany.
The one week festival kicked off Monday on August 21, 2012 and ended on Sunday,18, Aug, 2012 at the diocese of Cologne with over a thousand scouts from all over the world attending. Namilyango is among few schools that represented Africa at the festival.
Sr. Leticia Nabukalu the headmistress said that they “established and strengthened partnerships with children from other parts of the world and even promoted Ugandan culture.”
Nabukalu said that the children participated in activities like open sessions, knot making, singing and story -telling. 
The lead Scout master, John Kiizza said that the school performed and showcased “our culture”
