
The director of the school,Joseph Mbuga hand over bursaries to some of the best students at school.

A total of over 20 former students of Light secondary and vocational school, Bulenga got bursaries and scholarship for two years.
The former student scooped the bursaries for their exemplary academic excellence during last year’s Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE). A total of over seventy students sat last year and 35 passed in division one the rest in division two.
Joseph Mbuga the director of the school handed over the certificates and bursaries to the beneficiaries at the school on Monday. He advised the students to work hard and in excel in their academic excellence.
“Giving you bursaries, lands and scholarship is to motivate you to work hard and ensure that you even getter better grades at Advanced level and later at the University,” he said. He promised to give land to the best students during their Advanced level.
Mbuga called on students to work together as team and even ensure that they pray to God for their academic excellence.
Nakku Norah one of the beneficiaries hailed the scholarship offer and attributed her success on reading hard and her teacher’s encouragement.
“My teachers and the director played big role for my success. I am even excited about the two year scholarship I have just received. I do promise to work hard and even do better, “she said.
