2012 National Population and Housing Census

PRINTING OF CENSUS ENUMERATION AREA MAPS

UBOS-CENSUS/SUPP/11-12/0022

1. The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has received funds from the Government of Uganda (GOU) to be used for the printing of the 2012 National Population and Housing Census (NH&PC) Enumeration Area Maps.

2. The Uganda Bureau of Statistics invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of: Enumeration Area Maps

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No.8(a) from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

5. The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given below in No.8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be by use of a Bank Payment Advice Form to be obtained from the Procurement and Disposal Unit office in Room No.G.8 during working hours.

6. There shall be a pre-bid meeting at the UBOS Boardroom at the address given below in No. 8(d) at 11:00 am on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address given below in No.8(c)at or before 11:00am on 22nd March 2012.
Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address given below in No. 8(d) at 11:30 am Thursday, 22nd March 2012.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 7,500,000= (Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand Shillings Only) The bid security should be in the format provided in the Bid Document.
