He was really a gift from God. And he was to stop the conflicts in and around our church. But God has always great plans for his people and church. I feel like the church will lose a serious plier.
Jabero Francis | Nebbi
We give you all the credit for the work well done. may God who put you to serve in that office of the Archbishop continue blessing you wherever you go. nevertheless we need you down at home of Nebbi to strengthen up the youth ministry. God bless you so so abundantly.

I can not find words enough to thank you for what you have done.To the hopeless, you have brought hope,to the destitute, you have brought peace and encouragement( I am one of these), to the sick, you have brought healing.May the Good Lord bless you Mightly!!

Beloved Arcbishop Henry, It was and still is a blessing to have you as our spiritual Father. You have inspired many, especially the youth. You are showing such an exemprary example of a true and faithful christian. Many people find it difficult to retire in whatever sector and tend to cling to power for reasons not clear. Thank you for deciding to continue preaching the gospel even before your official time of retirement. My prayer is that Church of Uganda fills up this position with another straight forward servant. You have fought a good fight........... All the best our beloved Arch. May the Almight continue blessing you.Thank you.
Philips Albert Manano | Kla
My Lord Arch-Bishop, you have served your flock with honour and dignity. You have organized the Anglican Church that was getting divided by bitterness. Am a Catholic but very proud of you! I have always looked at you and will continue looking at you as a role model for myself and my family. We the people of Nebbi in aprticular, and Uganda in general, are proud of you. May the Lord Almighty God protect you, bless you and your family, and give you strength to evangelize for us all.
Christine Kateu | Entebbe
From the time you were enthroned as Arch Bishop your credibility has scored you integrity and honour. You have stood for what is right in the sight of first of all the Holy Almighty God and man created in His image. You embraced no, noncense and stood for rightetrousness, especially when it came to the Sodom & Gomorrah issue. May the Almight reward you. One thing a true christian knows is that when you stand and incline your heart to the righteousness of God not everybody will be adhere to easily especially when it comes to rebuking sin. But it is good because at the end of it all-judgment of God will determine who God is. Thank you for showing us the way of Jesus Christ amd the Lord God our creator. The onus is on us to accept or refuse. Long live, may the Adonai indeed bless and continue upholding you. We thank God for the time He has given you to surve us in this wonderful nation. May the Lord God remember thee, and May He choose another who will also not play a game of complacency in the Kingdom of God.

The country and the church in particular has had not only a leader but also an inspiring God''s representative at the time we needed you most your Grace. I will live to remember your great love for the youth ministry which (love) would later attract your servant myself to join the ordained ministry. God grant you a happy and peaceful retirement.

May the Almighty God reword you with His blessings from heaven. You are a true servant of God. No body would easily agree to go even before the time of retirement comes. We have seen a great example in you as a father, leader and above all, a servant of God. How I wish every leader followed your examples, we would really have peace and harmony in our country. May God bless you and your family richly. Long live my Hero, mentor, father, and leader. I thank God for who He is in your life.

The Lord has been gracious to the Church of Uganda through your service. You have been personally exemplary; Attending youth conferences, overnight prayers, reaching the Good news to all, Speaking your mind, leading a united church and standing for righteousness at the expense of liberalism. You are now retiring on a very selfless note: to go and preach the gospel. May the Lord honor you, May He a lone choose a Joshua for our Church. In Jesus'' Name, Amen.

His Grace Luke Orombi was the diocesan youth worker of Madi and West Nile Diocese NOT Moyo and Adjuman Districts. I remember him moving in a land rover with music through out the diocese of ,adi and West Nile.

The announcement of Archbishop Luke Orombi to retire as Leader of the Anglican Church in Uganda before his retirement Period is a good gesture.I Hope the Political Leaders in Uganda who want to die while serving will get a lesson from Orombi. The Bakiga proverb says the pot which continues used for cooking all the time ends breaking. Leaders in Uganda emulate archbishop orombi Or else you will be forced to crumble miserably like Gadafi
Gabriel | Kampala
Praise God Archbishop. The example you are showing cuts across and it is hard to find a person with your type of leadership. The good part is that you have a special call which you want to fulfill when you are still energetic and we shall always be with you. All the best.
Herbert Mugumya | Dar Es Salaam - Tanzania
The retirement news of the ArchBishop Rt Rev Luke Orombi are humbling. What a leader we have in the ArchBishop Luke Orombi? If there are no push factors, then ArchBishop Orombi is the first in the history of the Anglican communion to retire before his term expires. Although I would have liked to read a lot of the good news of the enthronement of Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe, the first Bishop of South Ankole Diocese, ArchBishop Orombo has stolen the show in the press this week. Let us not forget that we have the good shepherd who has been elected to serve South Ankole and he deserves our moral and spiritual support and prayers to lead the people of Ntungamo district not into temptation but deliver them from evil. Happy New Year Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe and may God bless you in your new role as Bishop. Hongera sana!

This is a Man of God..he''s walked his mile and has done what he doing without fear or favour.I was lucky to listen to his words of wisdom..I believe politicians in Uganda should follow his example. To retire when they are still having energy and wisdom, so that as youth we can look to their example.
We are so lucky to have a leader who follows the Constitution of the Church of Uganda.
Judie | Mbarara
You have served your country, your flock & your people with dignity & pride. You deserve 2 be honored 4 the moral authority u command. We as Ugandans still have a great example & an inspiration in you. Long live my lord the Archbishop.Am sure the Anglican church will fill your shoes with another credible Bishop. God bless thee & thy family.

May the Almight God Bless you and the Anglican Church of the Province of Uganda now called the Anglican Church of Uganda. As you retire, the issue of the Church House I hope will be clarified to us the anglicns of the small parish Anglicn Church in Busedani Buyobo,Budadiri. This is because when I was very young, I remmember the pastors would give us envolpes written building fund for church house and als for building the local hurch St.Mark . Over time we have grown up and are about to retire, but the issue of church house are never clear to us in Busedani village. As your etire, the christians of my village would love to hear about the church house. Moreover, we hear that there are projects that never are properly managed, we would like to know how you have exposed the fraudulent activities in these projects. This is my humble request from rural christian and laity of the Anglican Parish church in Busedani May you live longest with Blessings from the Almight to give you health for self and family.

Thank you very much for all the Good teachings and Sermons . you really inspire us alot . i wish all the other church leaders would be like you and do all their preachings like you . you are such a good preacher who doesnot politicise what you are teaching.
May good lord continue blessing you always.
Mrs. Kawooya
I believe that Luke Orombi speaks in tongues at home. The Holy Spirit has impressed this upon my heart.
God bless you Rt. Rev. Luke Orombi. You are a true servant of God. In these last days official and administrative duties can destruct someone from preaching the gospel. Now you will have pleanty of time to preach the gospel one on one when still strong. However, even when you were the archbishop you did many wonderful things in the service of the Saviour. May the Lord bless you and your family that supported you throughout. I thank you for refusing to go and meet at Canterbury but instead went to Jerusalem. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! God bless you.
