Ssingo beat Soana in preparation for Masaza final

Ssingo intensified their preparations for this weekend Masaza Cup Final with a 3-1 victory over Azam Uganda Premier League side Soana in a friendly match at Mityana Ssaza Ground.

Singo faces Gomba in this year's final slated for Saturday at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

Brian Lubega notched a brace before Isaac Otto added the other as Ssingo led the first half 3-0.

Shafiq Bisaso who is head coach for both sides led the Soana team while his assistant at Ssingo, Felix Kawooya was in charge of the Ssaza side.

Ssingo eliminated Busiro 3-1 on aggregate in the two legged semi-finals to reach the final while Gomba ejected Buddu 4-3 in penalties after 1-1 draw.

Before the final, Buddu will face Busiro in the third place play-off. Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi is expected to be the chief guest on the day.
