FUFA fines clubs over registration

They include; SC Villa Jogoo, Police FC and newcomers Masavu

FUFA Licencing Committee has fined three topflight clubs for failure to fulfil requirements ahead of the new season.

These include; SC Villa Jogoo, Police FC and newcomers Masavu and each of them has been fined sh500,000.

All the 16 clubs that will take part in the 2017/2018 Azam Uganda Premier League  are supposed to send in different requirements such as contracts of players and officials, club budget among others to the committee to be given a greenlight for inspection of infrastructure hence issuance of a license to new season.

But SC Villa, Police FC and Masavu missed some of the requirements. SC Villa failed to present the club CEO's contract and budget for next season while Police are yet to pay the club and players licence fees, present the contract of the head coach and his coaching certificate, club CEO's FUFA Certificate and contract.

Masavu are yet to present the registration fees, players' contracts, Club and player licencing fees.
