Despite leading 3-0 in the the first leg, Cranes coach Moses Basena has asked his players to stay focused if there are to progress to the 2018 Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals in Kenya.

Basena made the remarks in Kigali ahead of the return leg with Rwanda in the final round of the CHAN Qualifier Saturday at Kigali Regional Stadium, Nyamirambo.

"We are keeping our feet on the ground coming into the return leg very much aware that the Amavubi Stars are going to be tough playing at home.  Rwanda is a strong physical side that is going to throw everything at us but we are set to put up a very spirited fight like we did in the first leg and God willing we will get a favorable result,"stated Basena.

He added,"We are happy to come to a country where the people are very enthusiastic about football.  We promise to give them good football. We may have a three goal advantage coming into this fixture but this game is 180 minutes and only half of that was played,".
