The Uganda Cranes team fly to Rwanda Thursday afternoon ahead of a crucial return leg against Rwanda in the final round of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
Cranes won the first leg 3-0 at St Mary's Stadium, Kitende last weekend.
A squad of 20 players Thursday morning conducted their second-last training session at their residential camp at the Africa Bible University in Lubowa off Entebbe road.
The team then set off for Entebbe International Airport at midday ahead of their flight to Kigali that had been scheduled for 3pm local time aboard a Rwanda Air plane.
An advanced party led by one of the national team managers, Joseph Kasana, left the country Thursday morning. The Cranes side will be accommodated at Galaxy Hotel in Kigali.
The aggregate winner after Saturday's tie will progress to the CHAN finals due in neighbouring Kenya in January.
CHAN is biannual event exclusively featuring home-based players. Rwanda hosted the last edition in 2016 that was won by DR Congo.
