His friend seduces me

My boyfriend introduced me to his friends and one of them kept on sending me love texts. Later, he asked to me to meet him privately and that I should not tell my boyfriend.

However, I asked him politely to leave me alone but he refused.

Last week, he sent me mobile money saying it was his way of apologising to me. I told my boyfriend about it but his reaction shocked me. He reluctantly said that it's up to me to decide, that I‘m a grown up, so he can't decide for me.

I felt so disappointed; I was hoping he would talk to his friend.  I actually think that he knew about his friend's tricks before I told him.

Does he really love me?
