He becomes the clubs fifth signing of the transfer window

Mbayi Moussa Clovis is the latest signing to join Vipers Sports Club.

The Congolese striker signed a three year contract before being unveiled by club president Lawrence Mulindwa at Kitende.

"I have made the best choice joining Vipers Sports Club, I am ready to work with the team and win trophies," stated Mbayi who first had trials with the Venoms.

The DRC national team player who previously featured for AS Dauphins Noirs (2010-14) and FC Saint-Etoi Lupopo (2015-16) was praised by Vipers head coach Jorge Miguel da Costa.

"One of Mbayi's strongest points include pace, power, eye for goal and can score with either feet."

He joins Taddeo Lwanga (SC Villa), Yayo Lutimba (Express), Steven Mukwala (Edgars Soccer Academy) and Tom Masiko (KCCA) as the new signings.

Vipers missed out on silverware after finishing third last season in the Azam Uganda Premier League and got eliminated in the quarterfinal of the Uganda Cup by Paidha Black Angels.
