Kalanda joins As Kigali

Uganda Cranes forward Frank Kalanda has joined Rwandan side AS Kigali from Soana.

Kalanda who has also featured for Express and URA, signed a two year deal 

AS Kigali finished fourth last season in the league.  The club registered 15 wins, eight draws and seven loses from the 30 league games they played. Ryan Sport won the league.

Kalanda  is mainly remembered for his performance in the 2014 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifies as Uganda eliminated neighbours Tanzania.

Elsewhere, UPDF Football Club formerly Saints has released five of their players.  These include; former Cranes player Noah ‘Babadi' Kasule, Moses Lubega, John Wakalaita, Ivan Kiweewa, Augustine Walusimbi.

The five join Rogers Aloro and Aggrey Kirya who left the club to join Kenyan side Sofapaka and Onduparaka respectively.

Meanwhile, former KCCA player Owen Kasule has completed a one year deal with Soana. Kasule joins from relegated side Lweza.
