Team Uganda had a wobbly start at their inaugural appearance at the FIBA U18 3 on 3 World Cup Championships that tipped off on Wednesday in Chengdu, China.
Coach Hamza Nyambogo's side had a slow start at the six-day World event with an 8-18 defeat to Romania in an opening game.
However Uganda bounced back in their second game to beat Indonesia 20-18.
When they face stronger side, Belgium in game three on Friday, Uganda will depend on the services of the four man squad, Fayed Baale, Joseph Dramaza, Henry Okoth and Elvis Ssentongo.
Uganda, USA, Venezuela, Egypt, Singapore, Italy, Russia, France and hosts China among others, are some of the countries at the 6th edition.

The top-two placed teams from each pool will advance to a standard knock-out round which starts at the quarter-finals stage.
