The Government of Uganda received a loan from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and a Grant from the Adaptation for Smallholder Agriculture Programme (ASAP) to co-finance the Project for the Restoration of Livelihoods in the Northern Region (PRELNOR) in the districts of the Acholi Sub Region and Adjumani District.

Part of the proceeds of this loan is to be utilized for the procurement of 124 (One Hundred Twenty Four) motorcycles to facilitate the implementation of Project activities.

Therefore the Ministry of Local Government now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of 124 (One Hundred Twenty Four) motorcycles.

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) of the World Bank procurement procedures.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Head of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Ministry of Local Government during working hours.

Information will also be published on the UN Business Development/dg market website (www.devbusiness.com)/(www.prelnor.molg.go.ug).
