Aspiring Candidates will pick nomination forms on Tuesday

The FUFA Electoral Committee (FEC) has set aside Saturday for Azam Uganda Premier League clubs to elect their representative to take office as FUFA's third vice president.

According to FEC chairman, Samuel Bakiika, the 16 clubs have already started the process by submitting names of their voters who will elect the 3rd Vice President to the FUFA executive committee.

"The first division clubs have to pick their own representative. We are glad that the list of voters from the clubs was submitted to the FUFA Electoral Committee. The election of the 3rd Vice President will be conducted on June, 24, 2017," Bakiika said.

Aspiring Candidates will pick nomination forms on Tuesday and return them on Wednesday while the declaration of candidates is set for Thursday 22nd June.

Meanwhile, FUFA presidential hopeful Mujib Kasule, who failed to meet the requirements to contest the office insists the is unfair.

Kasule failed to secure backers for himself among other documents to get him nominated for him to contest the office. Incumbent FUFA Moses Magogo is headed for the elections as the only candidate for the office.
