The end to the Kwibuka Women's T20 Cup left Ugandan sides in unfamiliar positions!

Uganda's U19s, a select side from the UCA Girls Schools Cricket Week despite their electrifying performance in initial stages of the four team contest, settled for second best after Kenya beat them by 18 runs to clinch the Women's title.

Margaret Banja scored 35 from 53 balls en-route to Kenya's 87 in the first innings of the game before Mary Mwangi claiming 2 wickets as the Uganda U19s were all out for 69 despite Stephanie Nampiina striking 28 from 37 balls.

However, none the less Ugandans faired exceedingly well on a personal level.

Maska SS' Immaculate Nakisuyi emerged the best batsman after gathering a total of  123 runs with an average of 30.75.Hope Wanichan also took best  bowler with a total of 6 wickets and Rachael Ntono  finished as the Player of Series

Positively it was further a confirmation of Yusuf Nanga's coaching credentials in the Girls Cricket following a good spell with Masak SS where he led them to the UCA Girls Schools Cricket Week finals trhis year and then this tournament's final with the select side.

Meanwhile the Uganda U19s who were clear favorites going into the tournament only managed to settle for third best after beating the hosts by 35 runs.
