Anyau denies quitting BUL FC

Underfire BUL FC head coach Frank 'Video' Anyau has denied reports that he has quit the club to join newly promoted Mbarara FC. 

"I am still in Jinja with BUL FC on a contract that is highly respected because of its professionalism. It's therefore not true that I have left Jinja," said Anyau. 

Anyau signed for BUL at the beginning of last season but has come under scrutiny from fans who denied him access to the technical bench during league matches since the start of the second round. 

He was then replaced by his assistant Peter Onen. 

BUL finished eleventh in the Uganda Premier League with 34 points to survive relegation on the final day.
