NATIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE

At YMCA today

Men: Ndejje v Sharing

Women: KIU v Gladiators

Despite their earlier loss to KIU Titans in game one of the 2017 National Basketball League, Ndejje University Angels are looking to put that behind their back as they face Sharing Youth today at YMCA.

"Our first game may not have gone well for us but we hope for the best in the second one," said Ndejje player Derrick Katumba.

Ndejje lost a good fight to 2017 title contenders KIU by only three points (66-69) and it is for this reason that the Sharing Youth may want to consider bracing themselves for a tight one this evening.

Coach Walker Obedi's charges (Ndejje) will depend on Micheal Otieno, Maker Deng  and Samuel Ajack for a first win while Sharing will look up to the exploits of Stephen Otoa and Gatwech Kutai.

In the women's category, the Gladiators' chances of beating KIU Rangers in today's campaign are slim.

The team lost its first game to a weaker side (Javon Ladies), and it will be a huge ask for them to beat a resilient Rangers side.
